Members News

Our Club Captain wishes to remind members that:-

  • You can contact the Club Captain/Vice Captain by sending a message via WhatsApp or, ringing the Club on                      01304 830430.  
  • Please try and come to the Club to add your name to the fixture list.  Alternatively, you may text your availability to play in an upcoming match on the Club's WhatsApp Group 
  • It would be appreciated if names can be added a week in advance of any fixture. 
  • When playing home matches please arrive 30 minutes before the match begins to help put out equipment.
  • If you have been selected to play and are unable to fulfil that commitment, please contact the person nominated as Captain for that match, as soon as possible, to enable him/her to arrange a substitute player.
  • Please do not assume you will be playing in Whites.  Carefully take note of the dress code when putting your name down to play.
  • All No.1s at Home matches will leave the Green following delivery of their last bowl on the last end to set up and make the teas.  If the end is lost the No.2s will collect the bowls when the end finishes.
  • Please help to put away all equipment after home matches
  • If you are taking a holiday please enter the dates you will be unavailable to play in the Holiday Book which can be found on the Club Captain's desk.
  • Club Competition entry forms are displayed on the Competition Notice Board.
